NetHack 3.4.1 for RISC OS release -1
------------------------------------

This is release is probably a bit shaky as it hasn't been tested too much. It
should run OK straight out of the box, but if it clashes with something else
or crashes a bit then take a look in the !Run file for possible causes/fixes.

Having said that, it should run on any machine with at least RISC OS 3, 4 megs
of free RAM, and 3 megs of disk space. It's not 32bit compatible though; I still
need to get my hands on a copy of 32bit GCC...

Copyright stuff
---------------

The full nethack license is (unsurprisingly) in the 'license' file. In
particular, this copy (as with all) comes with no warranty whatsoever. The icon
sprites and part of the termcap file are taken from Stephen Watson's port of
3.3.1, available at www.kerofin.demon.co.uk/nethack His site also contains some
more info about clashes with other UNIX programs.

Source code for this port will be available from my website soon; at the moment
the code is in a bit of a mess and needs some tidying up.
